Cessna`s Stationair personal aircraft is a single piston engine plane. It is base don't he design of he 210 model. Cessna released a modified version as the 210 in 1963, and it featured fixed landing gear and redesigned doors. This model was called the 205, and it was replaced again two years later by the 206.

In 1986, a suspension on the manufacture of all single engine planes was put into place, but by 1994 after the GAR Act Cessna was able to begin producing Stationairs again. The first prototype of the new model Stationair was flown for the first time in 1996. A year later Cessna released the 206H and T206Hand the 2,000th Stationair aircraft was manufactured in 1999.
